Francoise Fielding has a passion for food and her “raison d’etre” is delighting her client’s, providing them with delicious food prepared and cooked to the highest standards. Trained at both The Cordon Bleu and Leith’s schools Francoise (Freddie to her friends) has over fifteen years experience in the catering industry. As well as working as a Chef at various award-winning restaurants she has specialised in working as a Personal chef and Private Caterer. Clients have included Wentworth Ladies Tennis Team, The Ferrari Grand Prix Team, Eddie Irvine, Freddie Mercury Estate, Isle of Mull Shooting Lodge and a number of VIP families both in the UK and abroad. Freddie especially likes to work with an array of seasonal and locally produced ingredients and takes great delight in cooking dishes from all over the world.

“I feel truly fortunate to have met Francoise. Last summer and autumn she cooked for 2 big and important parties for me; my younger son’s 21st birthday and my elder son’s special event to celebrate his Call to the Bar, Both were different in nature … one was to feed lots of young with nourishing shepherds pie and chocolate etc and the other was a truly glamorous affair suggested by Francoise which was an astonishing Indian buffet. The food on both occasions was out of this world; compliments were flying and for the second event she provided the most beautiful menus and table decorations too. Not only is her cooking second to none and she has the most brilliant ideas as to appropriate menus but her delivery is impeccable. For once all the anxiety of hosting a big ” do ” alone ,as I am widowed , vanished. Her time keeping and presentation are immaculate and she is so utterly calm and collected and in control. No last minute upsets or dramas; just could not have gone better in any way. She sourced glasses, crockery and cutlery and everything was laid out perfectly. She is happy to shop wherever one would go oneself and the bottom line is that she budgets so well and therefore the cost was highly competitive for such outstanding food on both occasions Since then she has also cooked for a dinner party when I was too stretched to manage and again it was an absolute triumph. All of our guests were truly impressed with her sweet and competent nature ( she will turn her hand to anything and also got on so well with our other helpers). I really think nothing is beyond her capabilities both from a culinary and organisational point of view and I have no hesitation in recommending her wholeheartedly. Certainly I intend to be a regular client because it has meant , not least of all, that I was finally able to relax and enjoy our own parties.
